God!! I had the best Nigerian food in Chicago at Ghana Fest. The line was super long. I stood in line for 55 mins and it was worth the wait. The Egusi, Jellof Rice, plantains, Fish, Goat Meat and Puff puff were prepared to perfection! I have ordered food several times from the day I first tried it. I put it on my social Media as a, must try!!! Spicy but delicious!! Highly recommended ??
I just want to say this again- this place has the best egusi in the city of chicago- literally eating this was like having a flavor party in my mouth- and the fish was so delicious and perfectly fried- the fufu was so soft and not too sticky - I have zero complaints- I am a completely satisfied customer- thank you so much Leah - for the excellent customer service & amazing flavorful dish. I will be back for more. God bless you richly.
Peanut butter soup is soooooo good I crave it! Luckily I also learned how to make it but theirs is just better. It's addictive, spicy and delicious! Jollof rice and plantains are good too!
My daughter suggests I try it after she raved about it. She had fufu and ugusi with beef. I opted for the Motherland Combo with goat, spinach, plantains and white rice. Everything was excellent. Service was timely, portions were sufficient. The food was flavorful and freshly prepared, still hot after driving home. They also give a cash discount (there is a 3.99% charge on cards). I will most definitely dine here again!
The best Okra Soup in Chicago
The jollof taste so good ... oh my gosh
This place has the best egusi in the city of chicago hands down- The fish was superb the fufu was the perfect consistency- amazingly prepared by Leah. Everything was so ????
This is my 5th time ordering from here and I can 100% say it’s worth it ! I got the goat meat and it was cooked to perfection as ALWAYS !
The menu looks great ! We drove to the Bolingbrook location expecting to dine in. But it was Carry-out only. I eat at restaurants as entertainment and a change of scenery. I don't want to drive to a restaurant, pickup food, drive home and eat at my kitchen table. Will the Bolingbrook location have dine-in at some time ? And their website and paper ads should have stated they are just Carry-out.
